About

Bruce Lukaszewicz is a professional photographer, writer and editor who was born and raised in New York City. He is based in the southwest United States and practices the craft of photography primarily as a freelancer.

When he is not making photographs or travelling, you will probably find him writing or editing a book. As a traveler, Bruce knows most of the swear words in six languages and can ask “where’s the bathroom” in fifteen languages.

When he is not traveling, he occasionally takes an assignment to photograph a wedding, or a casual portrait.

He enjoys working in both color and black & white. His photo-journalistic style is both modern and distinctive with a timeless, classical edge. His first love in photography is making photographs of anything concerning the emergency services – fire, police and the emergency medical service.

He is a former Firefighter and EMT and a member of the worldwide fraternity of Free & Accepted Masons and he is a 32nd degree Mason. He has been making photographs for over fifty years.
